LIVE PERFORMANCES
We are working on a series of live international performances for 2012. These shows will be variously performed as Carter Tutti, Carter Tutti Plays Chris & Cosey… and also a few special events as 'Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti' and X-TG. We're aiming to make an official announcement some time in January 2012 with locations and a schedule.

For the first time in 10 years Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti will be
performing an exclusive live set of Chris & Cosey material at
the ICA in London on the 4th February 2011.
The CARTER TUTTI plays CHRIS & COSEY performance will incorporate classic
C&C tracks from their substantial back catalogue, reworked and accompanied
by mash-ups of new and old C&C video projections.
Guests include Factory Floor and DJs Trevor Jackson & Richard D. Clouston.

WELCOME TO OUR NEW LOOK WEBSITE
After weeks of toiling away into the wee small hours our new look website is finally here. It's an entirely home grown affair… Cosey designed the look, layout and colour scheme and Chris put the whole thing together and will keep it ticking along.
Although much of the information in this new site is taken from the previous (10 year old) Chris & Cosey site we decided to completely dump the old site and build a new site from the ground up, with updated and expanded content. However, a consequence of dumping the old and starting afresh is that any sites out there linking directly to specific pages on our old C&C site will unfortunately now find their links broken.
Because this new site contains so much information - and to be honest we haven't bug tested it as much as we probably should have - you may come across some (inevitable) broken links, odd behaviour or weird anomalies. If so feel free to let us know using this email form.
We're aware that the Soundcloud audio clips won't display/play on iOS devices, so there are direct links next to those to take you to the Soundcloud site where they can be played. We are working on a solution to this frustrating problem. There's also a similar situation with some video clips on this site. We'll correct this with a site update asap.
But for now we're now going back to our 'day jobs'… see below.

Chris Carter & Cosey Fanni Tutti will be playing their new CHRIS & COSEY set at the Unsound Festival in Poland on 15th October.

The Festival has a theme this year which is ‘Future Shock’, as in the 1970 book by Alvin Toffler. The book is a cautionary vision of the future (from a very 1970-perspective) warning against “too much change in too short a period of time”. In 1972 a fantastic documentary was made based on the book, featuring a doomy Orson Welles and music by Gil Melle. Meanwhile other artists performing at the Festival include electronic pioneers Morton Subotnik and John Foxx.

After the recent much lauded Carter Tutti Play Chris & Cosey show in Glasgow we are making a song from that live performance - the live C&C classic 'Driving Blind' - available as a free download on SoundCloud. Although the track will remain online indefinitely the option to download is for a limited time only.
CHRIS CARTER COLLABORATING WITH FACTORY FLOOR

We are pleased to announce that anyone at the Primavera Festival or Chris Cunningham's Roundhouse extravaganza will be lucky enough to see two unique collaborations. Due to Factory Floor's electronics guru Dominic Butler being unavailable for the two dates, Chris Carter will be temporarily taking over as the third part of their immovable pyramid.
Carter has previously spoken highly of the London-based trio to the Quietus. Indeed, this weekend the Mute Short Circuit Festival will see Factory Floor return the favour as they lend guitarist/vocalist Nik Void to Carter Tutti for another one-off collaborative performance.
Factory Floor play the ATP Stage on the Thursday night of Primavera, and open for Chris Cunnigham's Roundhouse AV performance on June 1st. For information and tickets go here.

The visuals and some of the sounds you hear are edited and manipulated from field recordings and photos made at the location of the performance prior to the concert.
CHRIS & COSEY REMASTERED VINYL ALBUM RE-RELEASES
CTI are proud and excited to announce the imminent re-release of four classic Chris & Cosey albums from the 1980s':
HEARTBEAT, TRANCE, SONGS of LOVE & LUST and EXOTIKA
These albums, which have been unavailable on vinyl for more than 20 years, have been painstakingly remastered by Chris Carter from the original master tapes specifically for these vinyl re-releases and showcase what many consider to be some of Chris & Cosey’s finest works from their eighties period. Each of the four albums is presented on different coloured vinyl, in a specially 'remastered' sleeve which also includes a 12" B/W double-sided insert of archive photos, clippings and texts. The first two albums in this limited edition C&C vinyl reissue series will be HEARTBEAT and TRANCE are available NOW from CARGO UK SOLD OUT!

But on a recent trip to Norfolk in the United Kingdom, we got the chance to spend some time at the country house of the music making powerhouse – and long time couple – Chris Carter and Cosey Fanni Tutti. Not only did Carter and Tutti change the entire electronic music game as founding members of the legendary avant-garde industrial group Throbbing Gristle: they continued their love affair with music, gear and each other over the next 30-odd years with their mind-blowing, ahead-of-the-curve approach to drum machines, sampling and all manner of electronic skullduggery. Between the electro-pop of Chris & Cosey, the spooky ambience of Carter Tutti or their continuing aural experiments under their mysterious ‘CTI’ moniker, these two epitomize artistic overachievement and we salute and thank them for it. They took us for a spin around the home studio they’ve been recording in for 25 years, demonstrated some of the bits and pieces they’re using in their current incarnation, performed a special improvised track for us, and taught us how to give an asthmatic cat his daily dosage of medicine."
